Cardi B is serving bedazzled opulence for breakfast in her latest Instagram post. In a move to promote her new single "Hot Sh*t," set to come out this Friday, the Grammy Award-winning rapper recorded herself singing on a rooftop in a crystal-embellished bathrobe in front of Playboy dinnerware. In true Cardi B fashion, her robe and head towel were custom made by crystal artist Vincent Michael from the Disco Daddy Studio, and her entire glitzy look was styled by Kollin Carter.
Celebrity friends were quick to comment on the star's video, including Lizzo, who wrote, "F*cking beautiful," and Normani, who left a slew of heart emoji under the post. "Hot Sh*t" will be Cardi's first single in over a year and include features from Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Lil Durk. Although Cardi has stayed busy this past year, becoming a mother of two and featuring on Summer Walker and SZA's "No Love" remix, she said the pandemic definitely put a hold on her own musical projects.
"Last year, I was like, I gotta put out my album this year. But, then I just stopped working on my album out of nowhere because I feel like the whole COVID thing discouraged me to put out my album," she told XXL in April 2021. Regarding creating a second album, she shared in a December Instagram video, "It's been a lot trying to balance out my new motherf*cking life." Four years after her debut studio album, "Invasion of Privacy," it would seem Cardi is back, and we can't wait to hear the music and appreciate the looks she has in store for us.
Dressing a small chest may present some challenges at times - bras that never fit quite right and straps that seem to always fall down, to name a few - but being a member of the IBTC also has its perks. For instance, you don't even think twice about going braless. And you can experiment with pretty much any kind of silhouette and shape without worrying about too many nip slips. In fact, having too many options at your disposal might be the root problem: How are you supposed to narrow it down, anyway?
One place to start with is texture. Look for pieces that feature ruffles, bows, or some type of voluminous element around the chest area. You can also opt for sleeveless styles - like a high-neck halter top or one-shoulder blouse - that highlight your arms. Take a cue from Jennifer Lopez, who recently styled a lightweight pussy-bow blouse with a ruffled collar. Other stylish items for small chested folks to consider: a strapless top with a feather-trimmed neckline or a cropped camisole with rhinestone fringe embellishing the hem.
Wearing graphic prints and interesting construction details is another styling tip for those with small chests. The printed Marine Serre catsuit seen on Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, during Paris Fashion Week illustrates the visual power of a bold pattern. Similarly, refer to the off-the-shoulder bodysuit Meghan Markle wore at the Invictus Games in April, which calls attention with its draped neckline accentuated by a textured knot.
For more small chest fashion inspiration, incorporate these styling tricks the next time you're getting ready and deciding what to wear.
How to dress up your small chest
Slip into a silky bralette, high-neck top, or any intricately designed shirt that places the focus on the garment itself. The "dress over shirt" route is a simple fix to get the most out of your clothes-a spaghetti strap dress layered over a short-sleeved turtleneck dress is a '90s-inspired look that never fails.
How to highlight your small chest
If camouflaging your bust area with frills or loud prints isn't quite your style, then go braless! All you need is some boob tape and nipple covers if you don't feel comfortable exposing your nipples.

Summer has officially commenced. The fashion set is jetting off to new destinations both near and far, and you can bet that they're packing a stylish wardrobe. Paying for the actual "travel" part of a vacation is expensive enough, so it makes sense that many fashion people are turning to more affordable retailers for on-trend looks during their trips. What's one spot that's been bubbling up in all of my conversations? Free Assembly. The brand boasts mega-cute pieces without the cringe-worthy price tag. Fashion editor Judith Jones and content creator Ellen Kim ran me through the pieces they're loving from the latest summer collection (including a $26 crochet polo that both of them are raving about), and I'm all in. Keep scrolling to shop six looks that you'll be folding into your suitcase in no time.
"I'm a big fan of a polo silhouette. It inherently adds a preppy polish to any look. This one in a cool crochet fabric is perfect for summer and will undoubtedly keep me cool in the sweltering heat. I've styled it with ivory denim shorts, a black belt, and cushy flatforms for a casual-chic look I could wear literally anywhere on vacation—ideal for a day of exploring or chilling al fresco at a restaurant. I love how comfortable and breathable the crochet polo is. It's a chic option to wear with denim shorts instead of reaching for a basic tee."
"It's not summer without a little white dress, and this pretty smocked one is the perfect midi silhouette that can be easily dressed up or down. I styled mine with neutral kitten-heel mules and a basket bag—an ideal look for an aperitif on a coastal getaway. I'd easily wear this for a day of exploring, too. I'd just swap out the heels for flat sandals. I love the charming details of this dress: the subtle ruched straps and delicate bow. And I always appreciate a dress with pockets that add a casual-cool vibe. I'm really impressed with the quality of the crisp, white cotton fabric. It's not at all see-through and has a really nice shape."
"When you don't have time to think about your outfit, a jumpsuit is always a winner. I love the cute bow detail of this lightweight striped jumpsuit. It's easy to wear with heels, sandals, and sneakers. The addition of a crisp white blazer adds a polished touch and will take this piece into the evening with ease."
"This flowy, easy dress is great for any occasion from beach adventures to a day of shopping with my family. The best part? It's lightweight and so easy to pack for traveling. I styled it with easy heels and a straw bag that feels super summery. You can even throw on a blazer for a cool date-night look."
"I've always been a neutral person, but right now, I'm actually reaching for brighter colors and fun prints. I'm surprising myself, but I love it! When styling this look, I wanted to keep it simple with neutral heels and a tan bag to really let the fun stripes of the dress pop. The belt adds an extra element that makes it feel even more unique. I'll definitely be throwing this on for brunches on vacation (and in my own city)."
"I love styling darker shorts with lighter pieces like this white polo top for a cool contrast moment. I'd wear this look to hang out with friends, catch a baseball game, or tour a new city! It's really easy to wear. The crochet fabric of the shirt feels so on-trend for the summer, making the outfit look super elevated (and way more expensive than it actually is)."
This is giving preppy-chic, and I'm not mad about it.I'm pairing this with linen shorts and gold huggie hoops.A nautical vibe for your boat-day adventure. An easy romper to throw on post-beach day.Did you notice the twist shoulder detail? It makes the top look way more than $14.It's a known fact that linen wide-leg pants were basically made for a sunny getaway. Don't try to argue with me.I want them in every color. This will take you from a pool day to drinks with the snap of a finger. The ribbed fabric makes this feel even more elevated.
