Rihanna's peach outfit combined the old and the new: her shearling coat was pulled from the Diesel collection, which debuted just last week, while her matching minidress originally appeared in Off-White's spring collection last year. Rihanna completed the look with a vintage Dior saddle bag; strappy Manolo sandals; and, among various necklaces, a coral, onyx, and diamond necklace acquired from House of Kutchinsky.
The show, which kicked off Paris Fashion Week, was the first since the passing of Off-White founder Virgil Abloh on Nov. 28, 2021 from cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. In addition to Rihanna and Rocky, a host of fashion stars appeared at the show to honor Abloh, including Pharrell Williams and Luka Sabbat. Iconic supermodels, including Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Amber Valletta, and Naomi Campbell, walked the runway along with a new generation - including Kaia Gerber, Kendall Jenner, Adut Akech, and Gigi and Bella Hadid.
After a night of unforgettable style moments, one star's regal look at the 2022 SAG Awards is still top of mind. Laverne Cox walked the red carpet on Sunday evening in a custom Michael Fausto dress that doubled as a suit of armor on top and an elegant cape gown below. "đź–¤ Queen of the Night," Fausto captioned a post on Instagram, perfectly describing the grace and nobility Cox exuded as she posed for the cameras.
"What an honor chatting with some of my biggest acting inspirations tonight," Cox captioned her own Instagram post after interviewing some of our favorite stars at the award show. A sleek black ensemble with a feathered stole to match, the dress culminated in a sheer bodice embellished with intricate diamond detailing that made the "Inventing Anna" star shimmer from every angle.
Like true royalty, Cox, styled by Christina Joy Pacelli, was dripping in jewelry, including a silver Judith Leiber clutch, Mindi Mond New York diamond earrings, and matching Beladora rings. Cox even added some extra sparkle to her makeup for the evening with a few expertly placed rhinestones that made her smoky winged eyeliner look like a glittering night sky.
When the clock strikes midnight, the 2022 SAG Awards will long be over, but the image of Selena Gomez in this midnight velvet gown will forever hold a place on our Pinterest boards. The "Only Murders in the Building" star levitated down the red carpet on Sunday in a custom Oscar de La Renta dress with puff sleeves that commanded our attention from every direction. The figure-hugging gown also featured a scoop neckline and a subtle wraparound cutout that landed just below her bust, giving the illusion of a two-piece dress.
"Timeless elegance. Discover a SAG Awards sneak peek from our atelier," the Oscar de La Renta Instagram account captioned a behind-the-scenes video of the dress being sewn and steamed ahead of the award show. Gomez, styled by Kate Young, gave the dress a villainous twist with a Bvlgari Serpenti Necklace, an emerald ring that perfectly matched the jewels in the snake's eyes, and a pair of diamond earrings. As she walked into the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA, where the show was held, Gomez also gave us a peek at the black bow adorning her elegant bun, the ultimate reminder that looks this dazzling are a gift.

Elle Fanning continues her reign as one of Gucci's favorite muses. For the 2022 SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 27, the actor wore a sophisticated Gucci suit evoking Katharine Hepburn and Annie Hall alike.
Fanning's look consisted of a sheer champagne blouse with a matching vest and bow tie, as well as sparkling black pinstripe trousers. A pink diamond necklace and floral rings from Cartier completed the look. "I just didn't feel like wearing a dress," Fanning said in an E! red carpet interview. "I just didn't feel like it. I was like, 'You know what? Let's do the suit.'"
Fanning was in attendance celebrating "The Great," which received a nomination for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series. Fanning's portrayal of Catherine the Great in the satirical series was also individually recognized for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series.
Gaga's latest fashion moment fits right in with her "House of Gucci" red carpet aesthetic, delivering a look that feels over the top yet also somehow timeless. While promoting the film, she's hit the red carpet in everything from a Versace corseted dress to a velvet Schiaparelli gown with billowing sleeves.
For her groundbreaking role in the film, Gaga is nominated for outstanding performance by female actor in a leading role. Ahead, see more photos of her latest jaw-dropping ensemble.
Ariana DeBose exuded elegance during her latest red carpet appearance. A day after wearing Alexander McQueen to the NAACP Image Awards, the actor wore a pink Valentino gown to the SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 27.
Bringing to mind comparisons to Marilyn Monroe's iconic "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" look, the dress was pulled from the brand's spring 2022 couture collection and features a strapless, column silhouette with a bustle at the back. Styled by duo Zadrian Smith and Sarah Edmiston, the outfit was completed with diamond jewelry, including a matching necklace and bracelet.
DeBose gushed over her gown during a preshow interview with People and Entertainment Weekly: "Can we just talk about the color? The beautiful jewel tones at the SAG Awards?" It was the start of a big night for DeBose, whose portrayal of Anita in Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story" remake earned her the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role. She added, "I'm just in a celebratory mode. I've got a constant loop of Doja Cat in my head."
Amidst an award show and red carpet season that has largely been postponed, canceled, or virtual, we couldn't be more excited to get back into the *somewhat* traditional swing of things with this year's 2022 SAG Awards. And yes, just the sheer anticipation of the forthcoming (exceptionally drool-inducing) beauty and fashion moments have us chomping at the bit.
Unlike most award shows, the SAG Awards doesn't have designated hosts (a tradition that will continue this year), but fear not, in addition to the glitz and glamour, there are definitely a few highlights and surprises in store. For instance, the show's opening will feature “Hamilton” stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, and Leslie Odom Jr. and five-time SAG Award winner Helen Mirren will be presented the SAG Life Achievement Award by Kate Winslet.
Personally, I'll be enjoying tonight's show by indulging in the most sodium-laced takeout I can find and a nice pour of wine whilst, of course, keeping track of every head-turning hair and makeup moment that occurs on the red carpet. If you're equally hungry for a large helping of A-list-caliber beauty inspiration, I suggest you follow along. The best beauty looks from the 2022 SAG Awards are just ahead, and you'll want to screenshot each and every slide. Keep scrolling!
Hosted by Laverne Cox with cohost Yvette Nicole Brown, the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards welcomed a fashionable VIP list of celebrities and leading industry figures in movie and primetime television. Airing live from The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, the red carpet was the place for these stars and their stylists to showcase the latest color and fashion trends, inspiring a host of special-occasion ensemble ideas. From Cox's black gown with a sheer, silver bodice to HoYeon Jung's embellished, front-slit dress, stars came dressed to leave a lasting impression.
Last year, the glamorous event took place remotely, but celebrities still took to Instagram to display their envy-inducing looks, from Dan Levy's crisp beige custom suit from The Row to Cynthia Erivo's corseted Alexander McQueen gown. On this year's physical red carpet, the celebs' desire to get dressed again was on full display, so keep reading to see the best-dressed icons.

More often than not, It items are expensive, as they're usually designer. But the good news is that that's not always the case. Sometimes items that are actually very affordable become It items. And the item I'm here to talk about could be the next one, which has already gotten celebrity approval (Lucy Hale, in this case), and it's one that I've had my eye on after writing a story about the trendiest J.Crew items for spring recently.
While hiking in Los Angeles last week, Hale wore a sweatshirt bearing J.Crew's new logo: CREW. The cozy, boxy sweatshirt comes in navy and white versions, and it's one of several new items emblazoned with the logo, including a baseball cap and crew socks (which are more than a bit meta). I'd say the new era of J.Crew is upon us.
Scroll to shop the sweatshirt along with the other CREW items.
