Everything to Know About the Engagement Rings on "Love Is Blind"
If you're a fan of Netflix's "Love Is Blind," then you may be curious about the engagement rings, which are either chosen on set or brought in (Kyle Abrams presented his mom's ring to Shaina Hurley during season two, for example).
Knowing that on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," the jewelry is entirely provided by Neil Lane, you have to wonder how much shopping the men on "LIB" could possibly be getting done outside of the pods while they're holed up from the outside world.
What's more, if you're looking closely, you may notice similarities in some of the women's engagement rings. In fact, in season one, it appeared Lauren Speed, Jessica Batten, and Amber Pike wore identical rings following their proposals.
According to "LIB" production company, Kinetic Content, all the men are presented with dozens of rings to choose from (Netflix said that in seasons four and five, they were all courtesy of Bridal Rings Co.), unless they brought their own. "Whatever they choose, we pay for. Whatever we pay for, they keep, regardless of engagement ending," a Kinetic representative told POPSUGAR. And even though you might recognize similar elements on some designs - like diamond carat size, band embellishment, and setting - no two styles are exactly the same.
Kinetic even shared that in season two, the men proposing discussed their choices together, so the rings felt unique to each recipient. Of course, there are fans who have tweeted that they believe the women should be able to choose their preferred style before heading into the pods. That became a major issue in season two, when Mallory Zapata ended up with a silver ring picked by Salvador Perez, instead of her preferred choice of gold. Perhaps the producers will find a way for both contestants to join the ring-selection process in future seasons.
In the meantime, keep reading for everything to know about the "Love Is Blind" engagement rings, including the similarities, the payment, and the process by which they're chosen. Then, get the story behind the "Love Is Blind" wedding dresses.

Does Uniqlo Heattech Really Keep You Warm? An Editor Investigates
I live in a perpetual state of being cold. Whether it's 70 degrees or below 17, you're bound to find me wrapped up in a blanket at home or venturing out with a jacket in tow. Growing up in Arizona hasn't exactly prepared me for how to navigate cooler temperatures, which is why I often rely on heavy layering during the winter months to keep myself feeling warm. In the past, this has translated into me dressing like Ralphie's younger brother from "A Christmas Story" - think chunky snowsuits, a double-wrapped wool scarf, and so many layers I'm hardly able to breathe (let alone move around). It wasn't until I was introduced to Uniqlo Heattech gear that I realized lightweight, movable thermals exist.
Uniqlo's Heattech line is arguably one of the brand's most popular collections. Loved by shoppers for its wide variety of styles, the capsule boasts warm, insulated pieces that are designed to replicate the effectiveness of a thermal layer without the bulky design. Besides being lightweight, the thermals are also stretchy and body-contouring, meaning they'll actually mold to the shape of your body to ensure a more flattering fit. The winter gear has proven to be a lifesaver for me this year - I sported the Uniqlo Heattech Leggings ($20) during New York Fashion Week earlier this month and I love the Uniqlo Heattech Socks ($8) and Uniqlo Heattech Cotton Crew Neck Long Sleeve ($25) so much, I've practically been living in the pieces 24/7.
Ahead, I break down everything to know about Uniqlo Heatteach thermals and what makes them such a staple among shoppers, editors, and celebrities. From their unique insulated design and remarkably lightweight fit, here's what to know.
How Does Uniqlo Heattech Work?
Unlike other thermal styles, Uniqlo's Heattech line is made from different materials like polyester blends, acrylic, and rayon, all of which are designed to lock in heat for a warmer and more insulated feel.
What I Like About Uniqlo Heattech Styles
Despite their extra-warm design, I appreciate that these styles are surprisingly breathable and stretchy. The leggings mold perfectly to my body and are thin enough that I can style them underneath other cold-weather bottoms like pants or joggers. The long-sleeve T-shirt boasts a similar design, with an almost compressive-like fit that hugs my upper body without feeling too constricting. It's definitely thicker compared to the leggings, but still thin enough that I've been able to wear it underneath chunky sweaters and other winter tops.
The socks are, hands down, my favorite piece of Uniqlo Heattech gear. They're soft to the touch and plush enough to keep my feet feeling toasty. They also feature a textured ribbed design along the sides that looks super elevated. From boots to sneakers and even slippers, these thermal socks are designed to work with any type of shoe, and I even enjoy just wearing them alone casually around my apartment.
I also appreciate the affordability of the entire collection. In my experience, quality thermal pieces can get pretty costly if you're shopping from top outerwear brands, but most of the items in Uniqlo's Heattech collection cost less than $40. I've been able to stock up on several items in different colorways as a result, which has been great for expanding my cold-weather wardrobe.
What's Worth Noting
For me, the Uniqlo Heattech leggings and long-sleeve T-shirt work great solely as thermal layers and not much else. The leggings in particular are incredibly thin, and I've noticed that they're even see-through in certain lights. Reviewers on Uniqlo's site express similar sentiments, with one shopper writing: "Fit and feel were nice, but these were waaaaay too sheer. Yikes! I could never wear these confidently, even if my top covered my butt!" While the cotton tee isn't necessarily sheer, it can look awkward (even clunky) while on. All this to say, I love these items as base layers for cold-weather outfits but wouldn't necessarily recommend them as individual pieces to wear without styling something else on top of them.
Who Is Uniqlo Heattech Best For?
If you tend to run cold and rely on extra layers to stay comfortable, then Uniqlo Heattech gear is a worthwhile buy. There are a handful of different pieces to choose from, so you can find the best style for your wardrobe and comfort needs.
Additional Details:
- Uniqlo's Heattech line comes in sizes XS to XXL.
- Shoppers can browse a wide range of styles, including everything from crewnecks and turtlenecks to knit tights, socks, scarves, and gloves.
- Most pieces are available to shop in several different colorways, including staple neutral shades like white, black, gray, and beige.
Where Is Uniqlo Heattech Available?
These thermal pieces are available to shop exclusively at Uniqlo.

11 Swimsuits That'll Accentuate Your Curves in the Best Way
Looking for a new swimsuit is a lot easier said than done - especially if you're someone with curves who's in the market for something equally comfortable and cute. The trick to finding the right style is getting one that gives you the most flattering fit, whether it's a high-waisted bikini bottom or belted waist. Your swimsuit should play up your curves, not hide them. With so many options to shop online, our expert editors break down exactly what factors you should consider when scoping out the best swimsuits for curvy women - from the material to the bathing suit silhouette and more.
What Makes a Swimsuit the Best For Curvy Women?
When shopping for a new swimwear style, consider what silhouettes are best suited to the occasion. If you're looking for something to lounge around in by the pool, a bikini or sleeveless one-piece swimsuit will likely be your best bet for avoiding awkward tan lines. Alternatively, if you're a sporty beach girl who enjoys playing on the sand or boogie boarding through crashing waves, you'll likely want something with a bit more coverage and support - like a high-neck one-piece or long-sleeved swimsuit. Once you've determined your desired silhouette, you can then start thinking about fabrics. Contoured, spandex-like fabrics are ideal for those with curvy frames or large busts, as they hug the body in all the right ways (highlighting your curves, in the process) without feeling too constricting or tight.
Whether you're ready to shop for a tropical vacation or are dreaming of warmer days, it's time to treat yourself to one of the year's best bathing suits for curvy women. We curated swimsuits ranging from sexy monokinis to timeless one-pieces and, of course, some neutral and neon bikinis. We're particularly obsessed with a high-waisted, crossover bikini; a sexy ruched one-piece; and a shimmering swimsuit that's made to suit people with larger chests. Plus, they're all guaranteed to turn heads at the beach; now, all you need is a cute cover-up. Keep scrolling to shop our top picks.
