This $35 LOFT Skirt Nails the Bandana Trend I Keep Seeing on TikTok

Image Source: PS Photography | Marisa Petrarca

My earliest memories of LOFT date back to when it was still called Ann Taylor LOFT, when I'd tag along with my mom to help her pick out work outfits. It's been a minute since I've stepped foot in a store, but recently, my TikTok algorithm (which knows me frighteningly well) served up a few trending fashion picks from the brand's website. And honestly? LOFT is delivering. The pieces feel exactly like the aesthetic I'm reaching for these days: elevated but effortless, polished yet comfortable. Cue me immediately adding the exact items they fed me to my cart: the Deco Mini Wrap Skirt ($35, originally $70) and the Ribbed Square Neck Sweater Tank Top ($27, originally $55).

About the LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt

  • The LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt is available in both regular and petite sizes.
  • You can find it in stores and online.
  • It's made of 100 percent lyocell and is machine washable.
  • It measures 17.5 inches in length and features a straight, relaxed shift fit.

What I Like About the LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt

What I like most about the LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt is how it blends two trends I keep seeing on Pinterest: bandana prints and sarong-style silhouettes. The fit feels polished yet playful, and with the right accessories, I can wear it just as easily for daytime plans as I can for a night out.

It's also incredibly easy to style. Admittedly, I'm not the most adventurous dresser, so this skirt speaks to my minimalist heart - it looks chic with anything black and white (though by all means, go bold if that's your thing). I paired it with a classic LOFT tank I'll be wearing on repeat year-round, the Staud handbag I wear constantly, and a pair of strappy black heels.

Lastly (and at the risk of sounding a little obsessed), I love that this skirt isn't an online exclusive. So many pieces sell out fast online and are nearly impossible to track down. Thankfully, it's also available in stores, and I noticed that several Minnesota locations near me still had it in stock. (Can't promise the same for you, but I'm hopeful!)

What to Consider About the LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt

Something to keep in mind about the LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt is that it's made of 100 percent lyocell, which the brand lists as machine washable in the product details. While that's true, I did a little digging and found that the best way to keep it looking its best long-term is to wash it on a delicate cycle in cold water with a mild detergent, then air dry. I'm admittedly reaching for cons here, but if you're planning to keep this piece in regular rotation, it's worth noting.

Where Is the LOFT Deco Mini Wrap Skirt Available?

No shocker here: the Deco Mini Wrap Skirt is a LOFT exclusive, available both in stores and online.

The Best “Love Island USA” Bikinis and Swimsuits Still Worth Shopping From $16

Season seven of "Love Island USA" was equal parts entertaining, controversial, and anxiety-inducing. From the unforgettable spiral of Huda Mustafa and Jeremiah Brown (that lasted all of one week early on in the season), to the unexpected, yet necessary reunion of Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe. Through the season's many cringe moments and last night's monumental win for sensitive gangster Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, there were many noteworthy elements that inspired our shopping habits, including the outfits.

From the minidresses and crochet button-downs that informed fire pit chats to Ariana Madix's mastery at cutouts, cast members made dressing in Fiji look too easy. And of course, the swimwear was far from lacking. Notable moments include Carthen's affinity for crochet coverups and cowboy hats (a combination that's so "Cowboy Carter"-coded), Mustafa's massive thongkini collection, and Megan Thee Stallion's "Hot Girl Summer" gold bikini, also marking its debut on the show. Whether islanders were strutting casually through the villa enjoying downtime with their partners or going on impromptu dates to another part of the island, each bikini look left us obsessed.

Ahead, check out the best "Love Island USA" swimsuits from season seven - and shop exact and similar pieces to inspire your next vacation's wardrobe.

I Shop For a Living, and These Are the Most Ridiculously Comfortable Heels I've Tried

Image Source: PS Photography | Angela Elias

I generally loathe heels, but on the rare occasion that an outfit demands them, I'll acquiesce. You won't catch me at a wedding without a backup pair of comfortable flats, though. When I got the chance to test out a pair of heels from Elizée, an Italian brand that prides itself on luxuriously hand-crafted shoes with a focus on comfort technology, I was immediately on board. I chose the Elizée Karlie Sandals ($600), a delicately strappy, mid-heel option in a beautiful caramel color, and hoped for the best.

What I Like About The Elizée Karlie Sandals

I was admittedly afraid that the shorter heel and caged style might look a bit matronly, but when I slipped them on for the first time, I was struck by how sexy they looked. The caramel color flatters my tanned summer feet, the caged, glossy leather straps offer just a hint of adornment, and the pointed, rounded toes somehow help to elongate my legs. Forget dusting these off for wedding season, I was suddenly envisioning outfits I wanted to buy for an excuse to wear these more often.

Aesthetics aside, there really is a leap of difference between your standard department store heel and a handcrafted, luxury version. It might seem obvious, but it's hard to describe the difference until you actually walk in them. These shoes are made with a triple-layer insole, so I can feel the pressure point support, shock absorbency, and stability, despite the skinny heel. I'm less conscious of having a teetering, slower gait, and don't notice the balls of my feet screaming after a few hours of wearing these, which is a huge win.

What's Worth Noting About The Elizée Karlie Sandals

At $600, these shoes are the most expensive pair I own by a long shot. If this is also more than what you typically spend on shoes, you might want to consider selecting a style that can fill the biggest gap or need in your wardrobe. For me, that was a neutral-colored, heeled sandal I could wear to formal events where I'm standing or dancing for hours. Choosing a classic, mid-heel option also lends more versatility than a bolder style with a higher heel. Sure, these look stunning with dresses and skirts, but they also look incredibly chic with trouser shorts, cropped pants, and even my go-to Everlane barrel jeans.

Who Are The Elizée Karlie Sandals Best For?

These sandals are best for people who are usually averse to wearing heels. If you're looking for an elegant, versatile, and comfortable pair of heeled sandals you can wear with all sorts of outfits and to any occasion, from a work lunch to a Bar Mitzvah, this is your pair.

Are the Elizée Karlie Sandals Worth the Splurge?

If your budget allows, then I think the quality, beauty, and comfort of these sandals justifies the high price.

Keke Palmer Paired a Cutout Bra With Summer's Most Polarizing Pants Trend

Every year, Essence Festival brings out some of the biggest names in entertainment to the great city of New Orleans for a weekend celebrating Black music, culture, and revelry. Hosted near the July 4 holiday, the landmark event boasts nightly concerts at the Superdome - including Prince in 2014, Janet Jackson in 2022, and Usher in 2024 - as well as a packed schedule of events during the day like a Disney Parks brunch and a SheaMoisture day party. And celebrities come dressed in their finest summer-ready outfits for the occasion.

Keeping the city's scorching temperatures and soaring humidity in mind, stars manage to choose practical looks without sacrificing style. There are plenty of warm-weather-friendly trends on display, from cutouts to micro minis. Embellished one-shoulder dresses, polished skirt suits, and colorful rompers are also in heavy demand at the stylish festival. For concerts, artists think outside the box, choosing bold designs that will make a memorable impact. From a studded bra-and-chaps set to a nude bodysuit covered in glittering gold embellishment, there's no telling what theatrical look you'll witness on the Essence Festival stage.

For the 2025 Essence Festival, artists brought their sartorial A-game. Keke Palmer graced the stage to perform a cover of Brandy's "Sitting Up In My Room" wearing a cutout sequin bra and black capri pants. Ari Lennox looked stunning for her Super Lounge concert wearing a pink halter romper with ruffle shorts. Jordan Chiles wowed at the Black Excellence Brunch in a printed minidress that showed off her chest tattoo.

Kylie Jenner’s Cat-Eye Sunglasses Stole the Show at the Bezos-Sánchez Wedding

Leave it to Kylie Jenner to have all eyes on her at a wedding that's not hers. Most recently, the Khy founder joined her sisters (Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian) and mom Kris Jenner at one of the most anticipated matrimonies of the year: Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Venice, Italy. Naturally, Kylie Jenner didn't hold back when it came to her looks for the three-day extravaganza - from a white-silver lingerie dress to a cleavage-baring black string bikini. As if showing up in a white dress to someone else's nuptials wasn't already an indicator, Jenner further cemented her role as the main character wedding guest with a classic yet commanding accessory - black sunglasses from Otra Eyewear. It was the perfect example of a fashion faux pas that paid off.

The Gen Z entrepreneur wore the Kenny sunglasses from the Spanish brand, which is set to be available as part of an upcoming collaboration with the Grandquist sisters launching later this summer on the label's site and Revolve. Of course Jenner gets first dibs on the unreleased item, but that doesn't mean you can't get the same vibe. The site offers other budget-friendly picks like the Otra Hazel Black Sunglasses ($65) and the Otra Ivy Black Sunglasses ($65) - both cat-eye frames that are ideal for everyday wear (or a wedding if you're a Jenner/Kardashian).

Since I'm a shopping-obsessed editor and self-proclaimed sunglasses connoisseur, Jenner's accessory of choice piqued my interest. I found these similar options that are Kylie Jenner coded, and even more affordable. For the committed minimalist, consider these black frames that are sure to elevate your summer looks: the Aire Fornax 53mm Oval Sunglasses ($44) and the Le Specs Dream Lover 50mm Cat Eye Sunglasses ($85). And of course, Amazon has pieces that are just as chic and Bezos wedding-worthy, like the YMFRW Retro Cat Eye Sunglasses ($8, originally $15) and the Vanlinker Small Polarized Cat Eye Sunglasses ($14).
