Hello, 2021! Storm Reid Is Strutting Into the New Year in a Rhinestone Marc Jacobs Minidress

Some of us want to run into 2021, but Storm Reid is strutting into the new year in a Marc Jacobs rhinestone minidress from the brand's Fall 2020 Ready-to-Wear collection. "We're about to say #HELLO2021 but first let's say HELLO to my DRESS," Storm captioned a video on Instagram, showing off the dazzling outfit. She paired the look - which she layered over a black bodysuit - with ruched gloves, black booties, a matching headband, and silver earrings. "Ummmmm don't be mad when I'm trying to copy your drip for my 21st bday," Yara Shahidi added on Storm's post.

Miley Cyrus was originally supposed to wear the dress during the Marc Jacobs 2020 Fall runway show, but we definitely think Storm did the '60s-inspired piece justice from every angle. "Want To Learn How To Pose In Your New Year's Eve Look?!?" stylist Jason Bolden captioned his own video of Storm modeling the dress. "Well Here's a Few Moves From My Baby Storm in Marc Jacobs." Storm replied to Jason's comment by writing, "You did it once again. I love youuuuuuuuu . . . WHAT A PERFECT LEWKKKK TO END THE YEAR IN." We totally agree, Storm! Check out her full look here and see our recommendations for comfy New Year's Eve outfits to ring in 2021.

The Henley Has Been My Must Have Wardrobe Staple For Years

Like many of our classic styles today (think workwear denim or Chanel's Breton stripes) even cardigans and henley shirts have humble beginnings that are spun chic. Henley shirts were named after the English town of Henley-on-Thames; they were the traditional uniforms of rowers in the English town in the early 1800s. Functional and sporty! That's what probably got the attention of designer Ralph Lauren as he brought the previously worn underwear to American wardrobes in the the 1970s.

I've always loved a henley - its open neck shows just enough skin. I've collected the style over the years in everything from tissue-thin cotton, to silk and cashmere. One of my go-to stores for the henley has been Gap, with my mom stocking up on henley shirts for me for both bedtime and out-and-about year after year. Stripes, slouchies, ribbed, and fitted are all available. I always welcome another Gap henley in my wardrobe. I recently wore them with my favorite new pair of Gap jeans. I wear them everywhere from doing construction in the house to writing this article. With a great sale happening at Gap, 50 percent off with the code BIGSALE and an additional 20 percent off with the code ADDON, now is the time to add this classic to your wardrobe! Here are a few of my selects.
