These 30 Fashion and Beauty Items Prove 2022 Did Not Come to Play

Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.

I did a different kind of dry January this year: I gave up shopping instead of alcohol for a month. That means I bought exactly zero new beauty products or wardrobe items for a whole 31 days. That also means I now have a long list of things I would very much like to shop come February 1. Since I haven't been partaking in my usual shopping antics, I've had the time to take inventory of my current possessions and research the best of the best new items. And let me tell you 2022 did not come to play. Now that my shopping hiatus is over, these 30 items are at the top of my list.

This buttery-yellow color is everything.
This product helps you look awake even after a poor night's sleep or a bad hangover. Just apply under the eyebrow to brighten up your eyes.
My friend bought me this dress (I'm wearing it above) for my birthday, and I seriously love it so much. It comes in this gorgeous pink color, too.
A bright knit is necessary for getting through chilly spring days.
I've been really into baggy denim styles lately, so I'm excited to try this under-$100 pair.
I want this for myself, but it would make a great gift, too.
My skincare routine is pretty thorough but I surprisingly don't use an eye cream currently. This one feels like a good place to start.
Not to brag, but it's almost warm enough in L.A. for sandals, and these platform babies are a must for everyday wear.
This dress plus knee-high boots. You can't tell me that doesn't sound like an A+ outfit.
I don't know about you, but I'll be layering this mock-neck underneath my go-to black faux-leather blazer.
This multipurpose color stick melts onto skin for that perfect, dewy look.
Sometimes, I need an excuse to work out, and these navy biker shorts just might be it.
A cotton cap, blazer, and denim is my ideal off-duty outfit.
A luxurious body lotion just feels right.
A subtle cutout? Yes, please.
Wear this with all your favorite spring outfits.
I'm buying this before an upcoming trip to Mexico because I'm over spending $70 on a spray tan that makes me look orange. Wish me luck!
A little pop of color to lift my mood.
I may not be the best player at my weekly tennis lessons, but this skirt will give me the extra confidence boost I need.
I love anything that is chamomile scented so this bath soak is a must.
I'd expect these sandals to be at least four times the price.
How gorgeous is this statement malachite ring?
I'm really into bright nail colors at the moment. This green shade just makes me happy.
I've heard so many good things about Skims bodysuits, and I love that they come in tons of colors.
I can't wait to style this ruffle cardigan with black denim and Chelsea boots.
For a natural bronzed glow.
I have a feeling I'll get a ton of use out of this minidress for months.
Anything to help me sleep better!
This matching set is not only adorable but also affordable. It's perfect for a beach vacation.
This dress would look so cute with a white turtleneck layered underneath until it's warm enough outside to wear it without one.
