Many of Nordstrom's holiday deals have already landed. We filled you in on some of the initial discounted buys worth considering, but next up, we thought we'd get some insider intel on what an actual employee at Nordstrom thinks you should consider this holiday season.
VIP Nordstrom stylist Rose Hayes is here to highlight the specific pieces and trends she thinks will pique your interest because of their style aspect and the fact that there are great assortments of each at fantastic discounts.
Keep scrolling to check out what's worth buying from the Nordstrom sale, according to Hayes.
"The first winter shipments from July will be going on sale right about now. Look for statement coats in bold colors that will make you smile and feel happy to wear when temps drop."
"When the sale goes live, look for the items you will want to wear for the next four to five months, such as sweaters and cardigans. Cashmere is always a smart idea to grab on sale too."
"We all love a great new pair of jeans, especially if we get them on sale. New styles hit the floor daily. However, the trends are lasting longer, so you will have no problem scoring the latest styles for a bargain."
"Western boots, riding boots, and basically any tall boots are very much on-trend right now. If you're lucky enough to spot a great tall boot on sale, don't hesitate. This category of footwear is in high demand and in short supply!"
"Stripes are a classic for a good reason! They add visual interest to an otherwise solid outfit. Fall is the perfect time to start layering your stripe shirts under vests, blazers, and sweaters."
"I love to throw on an easy puffer to run errands, walk the dog, and, of course, wear to a Steelers game. Look for trench styles with belts for added style. Add a great scarf and now it's appropriate for the office or a night out."
"This sale will include items that have been on the floor since early summer. This means those early fall pieces, which are perfect to wear right now. Stock up on cozy plaid oversize shirts and shackets. Don't forget: The holidays are around the corner, so I always advise to think 'gifts' when you spot a good deal."
