My Calendar Is Currently Filled With Weddings—9 Dress Brands I]m Leaning On

I think we're all in the same boat here. This year is destined to be the year of weddings and big events. With many celebrations delayed in previous years, now is the time to celebrate everything we may have missed out on in the past two years. This might include graduation parties, milestone-birthday celebrations, and so much more. You're likely looking at your closet thinking, "Where do I even begin?" But worry not. I have got you covered.

We plan to take full advantage of any opportunity to get dressed up and dance the night away, and we know the best brands to keep our outfits fresh. There are so many talented designers in this space, so it was tricky to narrow the list down to just nine but trust me when I say these are really special. If you have a big event coming your way, you can rely on them. Find your OOTN below.

Andrea Iyamah is one of those brands that I fell in love with at first sight. Her designs are exactly what I've been looking for in my wardrobe—asymmetry, cutouts, ruching, and more! I guarantee you'll find me wearing one of her designs to a wedding.
I think I need this one.
I love a matching set.
This colorway is perfect for late summer and early fall events.
Reformation is the brand that I always turn to when I'm looking for a romantic and chic dress. Knowing that the brand uses sustainable practices and fabrics when designing its clothing draws me in. And the quality has never let me down.
Reformation just knows how to do prints well.
I'm in love with the thick straps and bustier top.
Halter dresses are a great way to give a subtle nod to Y2K.
If the wedding or special event you're attending is a "dance all night" kind of thing, you won't regret browsing the latest arrivals from Retrofête. Whether it's beading, fringe, or a dramatic leg slit, there's always something in the brand's dresses that feels glamorous.
A dramatic leg slit is always a winner.
The iconic Gabrielle dress looks so good in blue.
I can't get over this dress.
Destination weddings require this dress brand in the suitcase. If you're a fan of cottagecore, you need to take a closer look here. I love having a plethora of dresses handy that I put on and instantly look chic in.
This color is incredibly exciting to look at.
A dress like this will get so much wear.
Italian summer.
This chic silhouette was spotted on Sarah Jessica Parker in an episode of And Just Like That…, and I declare that it's not going anywhere. This Norma Kamali midi comes in many colors and hems. It's timeless, so I would consider it a must-buy. Plus, her other dresses are equally as impressive.
I think I need it in lime green.
A good starting point if you want to experiment with cutouts.
Match your lip color to this dress and you have instant glamour. It's adjustable to a midi length as well.
Self-Portrait delivers the dreamiest collection of sophisticated dresses. There's always a fun color palette to discover when browsing its new arrivals. At least once a month, I find more than one of the brand's dresses on my vision board.
I just need this one.
The fact that this is on sale has me very close to pulling the trigger.
You can't go wrong with this silhouette.
This brand should be mentioned in the history books for fully perfecting the 2022 aesthetic with its bold statement dresses that quickly go viral on social media. As many of the Copenhagen-based brands do, it has my heart.
Because you are a gift.
Florals never disappoint.
The fringe is so exciting.
Aje can do no wrong. The brand's dreamy dresses put an emphasis on the female form, flattering it from every angle. Every piece in its collection feels effortlessly cool and one-of-a-kind. I need it all.
Bubblegum pink has my heart.
This color is so flattering.
Wedding guest ready.
Farm Rio will bring the tropics to whatever is on your agenda, even if it's just a day spent at home. Every print includes distinct details that remind me of a tropical location. The brand's NYC store has actual sand in it, which reminds me I need to go back.
Love this casual option.
Florals? Okay, I need this one too.
This feels magical.
