These Are the Best Styles of True Religion Jeans, Straight From the Brand Itself

To call True Religion jeans iconic would be, well, a little obvious. The brand's signature stitching and horseshoe motif have been etched in our collective fashion conscience since the early 2000s, its logo second only to its impressively low low-rise styles and beloved fits. Worn by celebs and fashion-savvy folks alike, True Religion jeans were not just eye-catching. They actually made the wearer look and feel great, too, thanks to fabrications and cuts that flattered a variety of figures.

Today, the brand maintains the same DNA and quality in design but now includes a broader range of sizes to ensure the best fit for even more denim die-hards. In addition to creating new curvy styles, True Religion is also dipping back into the early aughts archives, bringing back fan favorites that feature colorful stitching, white Super Ts, and low-rise classics.

So, whether you're inclined to leave low-rise jeans in the Y2K era or bring them back full force, there's a new pair of True Religion jeans undoubtedly calling your name. Ahead, find your perfect pair among 12 of True Religion's most-loved styles, with fit intel straight from the source: Tina Blake, SVP women's design and brand image.

Carrie, a low-rise '70s-inspired super flare, is True Religion's O.G. Styled with heels or platforms and worn with a shrunken top or tank, these jeans look good on everyone. "One of the things we’re excited about is bringing back the iconic fits like the Carrie, which will return in Spring 2023," says Blake. In the meantime, if you want to add a little flare to your wardrobe, she suggests the Reagan as the perfect alternative.
Another quintessential fit, the Joey is the style that celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan were rocking in the early 2000s. "This fit is super versatile and can be dressed up or worn with sneakers and a hoodie for a cool daytime look," suggests Blake.
Bobbi is one of True Religion's newer styles. It is a baggy dad-style that sits lower on the hips, and features a loose-fitting leg with cargo and 5-pocket options. "This style is absolutely geared towards a younger Gen-Z customer, and we can’t wait to see what looks they bring to life with this baggy," Blake shares. If you can't wait to play around with baggier looks, True Religion's Big T Cargo style is a fun alternative.
"This fashion silhouette is the easiest and coolest way to wear a lower rise," advises Blake. "It hugs the hips and has a dramatic wide leg with rips and distressing." She suggests pairing these jeans with heels for the ultimate retro rock star vibe.
True Religion's iconic cargo silhouette fit features a mid-rise straight leg complete with cargo pockets with flaps and panels, accentuated with visible seaming and signature Big T white stitch. According to Blake, this is an easy daytime cargo pant that can be worn practically anywhere.
The Jennie is one of True Religion's top-selling skinny fits. Designed to truly accentuate every curve and body type, these jeans are made with super stretch fabric and feature a contoured waistband to eliminate any gap in the waist for curvy girls.
Another True Religion classic is the Halle, an OG Super Skinny fit that is super versatile. "Style them with tees and sneakers in the daytime or a cami and heels for a night out," suggests Blake.
Becca is True Religion's original boot cut design, featuring a mid-rise and slim fit from hip to thigh. "The legs kick open from the knee down to balance out the hips in a flattering way," Blake explains. Wear them with sneakers, heels, or boots, obviously.
"This fit was created after we noticed girls wearing the men’s Ricky jeans, which is a relaxed straight fit that falls a bit looser off the hips," recalls Blake. "We figured, instead of borrowing your boyfriend's jeans, let’s make them tailored to a woman’s body with all the same details as the men’s."
The Billie is True Religion's classic, mid-rise straight fit. The style has an elongating effect and is perfect for wearing when you want to show off your new shoes.
A '90s-inspired throwback style, the Buddha will arrive on shelves in early 2023. These jeans feature a high-rise and a classic straight leg that is ideal for everyday wear. "While we wait for her to drop, shop similar styles like our High Rise Relaxed Straight Jean," suggests Blake.
Finally, don't sleep on one of True Religion's classic fits: the Stella. "This silhouette features a low-rise and body-slimming fit through the hips with a cigarette-stacked leg," explains Blake. Perfect to pair with sneakers and your favorite hoodie.
